Specializations and use
Use Ivankov with Tanks or Helicopters when you want a sturdier combat troop that still gains offensive scaling over an engagement. His broad normal-attack resilience and combat stacking also give him value outside those unit types, but his dedicated stat package is clearly Tank/Helicopter focused. For Base defense, garrisoning him adds protection against both normal attacks and officer skills while improving Base HP recovery, making him a strong defensive assignment when troop deployment is not the priority.
